Rastgele kelimeler ezberlemek yerine temel kelimeleri alın ve yükseltin:

Türk Öğrencilerin Sık Yaptığı Kelime Hataları

• "make" ve "do" karışıklığı: "make homework" yerine "do homework" kullanın
• "say" ve "tell" karışıklığı: "He said me" yerine "He told me" kullanın
• Yanlış arkadaş (false friends): Türkçe "sempatik" = İngilizce "sympathetic" değil, "likeable/friendly" demektir
• "actually" yanlış kullanımı: "Actually" = "aslında/gerçekte", "şu anda" (currently) değil

Kelime Bilgisini Etkili Öğrenme Yöntemleri

1. Bağlam içinde öğrenin — liste ezberlemek yerine makaleler, podcastler ve konuşmalardan kelimeler öğrenin.
2. Eşdizimli yapıları öğrenin — "heavy rain" sadece "heavy"den daha yararlıdır.
3. Hemen kullanın — "detrimental" kelimesini öğrendiniz mi? Aynı gün pratikte kullanın.
4. Günde 5 kelime — nicelikten çok nitelik önemlidir.
5. Haftalık tekrar — bir defter tutun, her pazar gözden geçirin.
6. Kelime ailelerini öğrenin — "economy" → "economic" → "economically" → "economist"
